Movie Essays

Back in high school I got to take a film studies class. Sure I had to deal with a lot of snobby theatre kids, and my teacher always felt the need to pause whatever movie we're watching to go on about a 20 to 40 minute lecture about how we live in a society, but nonetheless I really enjoyed that class and it introduced me to some of my favorite movies (Fargo, This is Spinal Tap, and Hedwig and The Angry Inch just to name a few). Here's a few essays I wrote all dated between late 2015 to 2017, aside from a few fixing a few things the writing overall remains unchanged.

Alien(1979) and Aliens (1986)

Taxi Driver (1976)

Rear Window (1954)

Lawrence of Arabia (1962)

Being There (1979)

The Graduate (1967)
